The Volunteer Bond The volunteer requirement varies by club: A family is required to collect points (or pay the fees) for up to two athletes (e.g., if a family has three athletes, they will be required to volunteer/pay the bond for two athletes). Members should volunteer for at least one financial opportunity and one community building opportunity. This is a minimum of 1 point in each opportunity category. The full policy can be found on the website here. How we Track Throughout the year, volunteer time will be tracked in the Tracking Spreadsheet. We receive a list from the event organizers (internal and external) and then match the parents' names to their athletes to award credits. For adhoc opportunities we may not receive a tracking sheet, so don't hesitate to bring them to our attention. Also if you have someone other than yourselves volunteer for your family, just let us know at [email protected]. Please check your volunteer points from time to time, and if you think something has been missed, email [email protected]. But remember we are volunteers too, so points may take a little while to get in the system. Make sure you have checked the sheet before the end of the ski season, as volunteer bonds are charged May 1, 2026, and if its reversed, you are charged the admin fee. Volunteer Opportunities: Below is a list of common opportunities. As other opportunities come up, they'll be communicated out through the club and an appropriate point value allocated. Watch your inbox for the 25_26 tracking sheet in the next couple of weeks! Mandy Long & Sheena JohnsonVolunteer Coordinators, Lake Louise Ski Clubs Comments are closed.
