![]() Last Saturday, our Grizzlies athletes took over Grizzly Gully for the annual Grizzly Cup freeride event. The day kicked off with a venue inspection, followed by one run for each athlete to showcase their skills and impress the judges. The athletes didn’t disappoint, swiftly tackling the venue and finding inventive routes through the trees, as well as taking on bumps and jumps with ease. A huge thank you goes out to our volunteers who helped organize the event, crafted the medals, judged, and acted as ski runners. Special thanks to Freeride coaches Liam Morrison for starting the athletes, and Gigi Jacques for announcing and DJ’ing the event. And a big thank you to Bear Street Outfitters in Banff for sponsoring this year’s event and supplying prizes for the podium winners. Here is a recap of the results:
