Meet Your LLSCs Management Team

9/30/2025

We're excited to introduce you to the LLSCs Management Team! This group works behind the scenes to support our athletes, families and coaches while keeping our programs running smooth year over year.

Each of us brings different experience to the table, but we share the same commitment to creating an environment where our community can thrive. From overseeing operations to making sure our core values (Unity, Adventure, Excellence) and RISE stay at the heart of everything we do, we are proud to play a role in shaping the future of the Lake Louise Ski Clubs!

Gavin Preziosi:
Executive Director

Heading into his fourth season with the club, Gavin excited to work alongside our management team as they set their sights on another great year. Each club has its goals lined up, and the strong teamwork between our leaders will help us reach them while keeping the Lake Louise Ski Clubs connected and moving forward together. It will be rewarding to watch our competitive athletes continue to grow and perform this season.

With our athlete base larger than ever, it’ll be exciting to see the Grizzlies draw inspiration from both the Race and Freeride programs. For our oldest Grizzlies, their transition into one of these streams will highlight not only their individual development as athletes, but also the continued evolution of our programs as a whole.

As for Gavin, he and his wife, Tess, eloped 4 years ago, so they thought it would be a good idea to celebrate with their family and friends and hosted a wedding for 120 people on their property in Golden this past summer. They have a dog, Manchego (cheese), and enough kids in their lives that they do not feel the need to have their own.

Jennifer Clarridge:
Athletic Director &
FIS Head Coach

Jennifer Clarridge first coached at Lake Louise as a U of C student in 2008. Across 8 seasons she worked with athletes from (what is now) Grizzlies to U16. After a 3 seasons of working Zone and PSO teams in Alberta and BC, she came back to the club in 2019 and has been in a leadership role with the club ever since. She grateful to have worked with PL, and now Gavin, both who have been mentors to her and have always helped her stay inspired in this profession.

Jen now has the pleasure of working with our senior race athletes, and while most of the time you’ll see her on snow with them (we ski a lot, yes), she plays a large role off snow both athletically and administratively.  From the continued development of our dryland programming, to driving our club culture, identity and image, working closely with Steph on membership communication, or coordinating with Emily and Thibault to maintain strong pathways through programs in all clubs, she has at least a small role in almost every aspect of the club.

Jen's current on snow role is as our FIS Head Coach. She is looking forward to continuing to offer athlete centred programming, and to keep building a culture where athletes all the way from Grizzlies are inspired by those in our FIS program. She is also excited to be a mentor to our Race coaches this season and create strong connections and consistent culture across our staff and programs.

Emily Clarke:
Grizzlies Head Coach

Emily Clarke has been a dedicated member of the Lake Louise Ski Clubs since 2008, contributing in a variety of roles throughout her tenure. Her primary focus has been coaching athletes in the U12 category, where she has made a lasting impact. Many of the athletes Emily has mentored continue to thrive in the sport, now competing with the Alberta Ski Team, the Canadian National Ski Team, the Freeride World Tour, or serving as coaches within the LLSCs.

In her role as Head Coach of the Grizzlies program, Emily is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Grizzlies operations. Her leadership encompasses program development, seasonal planning, coach mentorship and education, athlete progress monitoring, and more.

Thibault De Sainte Maresville:
Freeride Head Coach

Thibault is originally from Chamrousse, a small town in the Alps in France, where he developed a strong passion for skiing. Thibault moved to Canada some time ago, and after three years programming video games in an office in Montreal, he realized his true calling was to work outdoors in the mountains. Thibault discovered immediately that he loved sharing his passion for skiing with everyone and instantly knew that it was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

From that moment, Thibault has dedicated himself to continuous personal development as an instructor and coach, as he shares his passion for skiing with kids and adults. Thibault has been at Lake Louise the last nine years, working four seasons with the ski school and four seasons with ULLR before joining the Lake Louise Ski Club two seasons ago. He has transitioned into the Freeride Head Coach role for the upcoming season.

Thibault is very excited about this season! He is looking forward to being part of the development of every athlete and coach in the program. He is looking forward to helping every coach have a slightly more structured day, to maximize safety and development of the kids, while still keeping the focus on fun and supportive environment. He is very excited to see how coaches and athletes evolve with all the mentorship we will offer.

Thibault is also looking forward to our first season with multiple athletes that will be able to flip on snow, and to manage their training for successful and safe progression.

Stephanie Johnston:
Member Services

Stephanie Johnston first joined the ski club as an athlete herself in 1983 spending the next decade representing LLSC.  She then rejoined the club as a parent in 2013 when her oldest son joined the Grizzlies.  Steph’s role with the club started evolving in the 2016-2017 season when she started supporting the Grizzlies on snow which quickly expanded to managing the Grizzlies administration.  Steph officially stepped into her currently Member Services role in the fall of 2017.

Steph continues to be active in the LLSC parent community with 2 athletes in the Race program (U16 & FIS) and is super excited to see how their seasons progress with all the prep work they have put in during the off-season!
