Work With Us

Why Join The Lake Louise Ski Clubs

The Lake Louise Ski Clubs (LLSCs) are a community sport organization dedicated to developing athletes through our three clubs: Grizzlies, Race and Freeride. Together, we provide a progressive pathway that introduces young athletes to competitive skiing environments, develops fundamental skiing and life skills, and supports those pursuing high-performance goals.

While each club has its own identity, we share a commitment to creating exceptional athlete experiences in a safe, supportive, and challenging environment. Our coaches help athletes build confidence, resilience, independence, sportsmanship, and a lifelong passion for skiing and the mountains.

We proudly employ coaches from a variety of skiing backgrounds including Alpine Canada, CSIA, Freestyle Canada, IFSA and equivalent international certification systems. We value diverse experiences and perspectives that contribute to exceptional athlete development and coaching environments.

As a member of our team, you'll enjoy:

  • Competitive wages based on experience and certification.

  • A Lake Louise Ski Area season pass and club uniform.

  • Ongoing mentorship, coach development, and opportunities for professional development.

  • A supportive coaching environment that encourages initiative, collaboration, and shared learning.

  • Opportunities for career advancement across our programs and future seasons.

  • The chance to make a lasting impact on young athletes while coaching in one of Canada's most iconic mountain environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Alpine Canada Entry Level Training OR Freestyle Canada Fundamentalz certification (in house subsidized course available for both certification pathways)

  • Must be able to legally work in Canada.

  • Provide an up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Check (or valid copy issued within three months prior to hiring)

  • Candidates must live or have access to accommodation between Calgary, the Bow Valley and Golden, and have transportation to and from Lake Louise. We do not provide staff accommodation.

We accept applications for those looking for seasonal work either one or two weekend days, Fri - Sun, mid-week evenings, or full time. If you would like to explore further club specific requirements see the About Our Clubs section below, or you can visit our individual club program pages through the menu bar at the top of this screen.

If you are passionate about skiing, ready to join a collaborative team that values mentorship, continuous learning, and a shared commitment to helping athletes reach their potential and want the best office view in the world, we would love to hear from you.
