Celebrating Ski Racing Excellence!
Lake Louise Ski Clubs is proud to congratulate three award winners with strong connections to our club and ski racing community in 2026!
Dave Howard – ACA Official of the Year
A familiar face at races across Alberta, Dave's dedication to ski racing goes well beyond race day. From timing and race administration to mentoring volunteers and countless hours behind the scenes, Dave's knowledge, generosity, and commitment make him an invaluable part of our sport. In response to this honour, Dave said;
“On any given race day, NGSL to NORAM, aspiring officials like me get to stand on the shoulders of giants. National and FIS TD’s with decades of experience, former World Cup coaches, former national team athletes, aspiring World Cup coaches and national team athletes. We are all so incredibly blessed with this community. I consider myself lucky and humbled to be a part of it all”
Lake Louise Ski Resort – ACA Ski Resort of the Year
Our home mountain continues to demonstrate an outstanding commitment to ski racing! With the homologation of the Juniper race venue, hosting six Alberta Alpine events last season, and ongoing support for training and competitions, Lake Louise plays a vital role in athlete development to the whole ski racing community.
As Kim Locke, VP Strategy & Corporate Affairs at Lake Louise Ski Resort, shared:
"The passion and dedication shown by club athletes, volunteers, and coaches make it an easy choice to continue to support the race community year after year."
Caleb Brooks – Provincial Athlete of the Year
Congratulations to LLSC alumnus and Alberta Ski Team athlete Caleb Brooks! Following an outstanding season that included capturing the Alberta GMC Cup Overall Men's title, Caleb has been recognized for both his athletic achievements and his reputation as an excellent teammate.
A huge congratulations to all three recipients! We're proud to celebrate your achievements and grateful for your contributions to the ski racing community.
