Lake Louise Ski Clubs Silent Auction – Donation Drop Off Deadline!
A huge thank you to everyone who has already contributed to our first online silent auction! We really appreciate your generosity and support, and we're excited to see the auction coming together.
For those families who haven't yet arranged their donation, a friendly reminder that our deadline is 17 October. We still have around 100 families who pledged to donate at registration but haven't yet been in touch, so we'd love to hear from you!
Looking for Something a Little Different!
We've already received some lovely donations, including many gift cards, for which we're very grateful. As we continue building the auction, we're hoping to introduce a greater variety of items and would particularly welcome donations other than gift cards.
This is a great opportunity to get creative! Perhaps know someone who might be happy to help. Do you have friends who own small businesses, or know any local artists, makers or craft sellers? Perhaps someone creates beautiful handmade products, sells artwork, makes jewellery, produces local food products or has a shop with something interesting to contribute. A personal approach can go a long way!
Let's Aim High – Our Goal Is $35,000!
We're setting ourselves an ambitious fundraising goal of over $35,000, and we'd love your help to get there!
Alongside smaller donations, we're particularly keen to secure some higher-value items that will generate excitement and attract bidders to the auction. Sporting equipment, electronics and outdoor gear to artwork, luxury products, holiday accommodation or unique experiences are all welcome donations.
Perhaps you know a business owner who might be willing to make a more substantial contribution, or someone with a connection to a company that could donate a standout auction item. Even one or two larger donations could make a significant difference to our fundraising total. With Christmas approaching, we're hoping to offer a fantastic selection of items that people will be excited to bid on, whether they're shopping for gifts or treating themselves.

Next Steps
If you haven't yet been in touch about your donation, please email fundraising@lakelouiseskiclubs.ca and arrange to drop your item off by 17 October, letting us know what you would like to contribute with a photograph and its approximate retail value. We'll then put you in touch with a committee member in your area to arrange collection or drop-off. If you have been in touch about your donation but haven’t dropped it off, please get in touch with the team member that you have been directed to. We cannot list donations that have not been received.
Thank you again for helping make our first silent auction a success. With over 200 young athletes across our Grizzlies, Race and Freeride programs, your support really does make a difference. Funds raised will help purchase equipment, support coach education and reduce costs for our ski club families.
