Lake Louise Ski Clubs Ski for Life Award

The Lake Louise Ski Clubs (LLSCs) is proud to continue their bursary program for the 2023-2024 season. The intent is that the funds go to athletes/families who are finding the cost of keeping their athlete involved in ski programming with LLSCs challenging. The Clubs will take into consideration the athlete’s character as well as financial need. Athlete’s will be eligible for up to 50% of their base program price.

Applicants must apply to Member Services by July 15 2023, for the 2023-2024 season with a letter outlining the following:
Scholarship Selection:
An independent selection committee will review all applications received by June 1. Decisions will be based on the selection criteria above included in the application letter as well as a conversation with the athlete’s most recent coach.
The LLSCs Committee will decide by the end of August and notify all applicants. We will honour early bird pricing for all applicants not yet registered. Once registered and for those successful applicants already registered, Member Services will add a credit for the scholarship amount to the athlete’s account in RAMP.

- Athletes must exemplify all aspects of our RISE philosophy
- Athletes must be returning members to the LLSC family of clubs
- Athletes must be registered in a program that is on snow at least two days a week.
Selection Criteria:
Applicants must apply to Member Services by July 15 2023, for the 2023-2024 season with a letter outlining the following:
- Statement of financial addressing how the funds will be used to enable continued participation in ski programming.
- Demonstration of the RISE philosophy. Please describe how your athletes personifies our RISE philosophy both on and off snow.

KidSport Alberta
For any members who are new to the club or have athlete’s participating in our one day a week programs who need financial assistance, please have a look at KidSport. KidSport is a government funded program that provides grants for youth to participate in sport up to the 18 years old. Please let Member Services (admin@lakelouiseclubs.com) know if your athlete will be receiving a KidSport grant.
NOTE: The KidSport grant can be combined with the LLSCs Scholarship for athletes in our 2 day a week programs.
