You have not missed anything!  We are waiting for Alberta Alpine to open RAMP for the 2024-2025 season so that we can open our registration.  We are ready to go as soon as RAMP is available. Returning club members - please watch your inbox for a TeamSnap email from me with this year's link.

Registration is just around the corner as such I have a few updates:

• Deadline to apply for the Skier for Life Bursary is Friday May 31.
• All program information for the 2024:25 season is up to date on Grizzlies, Race and All Mountain websites.
• We are aiming to have registration open within the first couple weeks of June.
• Returning members will have 2 weeks to register before we open to the public. Demand is high for programs this season and we will likely hit capacity in ALL our programs.  If you are unable to register within this 2 week window please contact me directly. 
• The Volunteer Policy has been updated for the upcoming season. As there are numerous changes, I recommend all members give the policy a read before registration.
• Our Refund Policy has also been updated. I would like to call your attention to the addition of the Volunteer Bond to the policy. 

I'd like to take a moment to thank each of you who have already registered yourself as a volunteer with Alberta Alpine this season. 

For those who have not, this is a friendly reminder that every parent with the club needs to be registered independently of their athlete.  This fee replaces the Family Membership you have had to purchase in past seasons.  This change is in anticipation of Safe Sport agreement requirements for individuals.

It is important to note that it is essential for all parents that this be completed before their athletes start on snow this fall as you will not be able to volunteer without completing the registration.

New this season, parents must register independently from their athletes in RAMP. 

When registering you will find there is a $43/parent fee, this replaces the $84 Family Membership from past seasons.

Why is this important? 
In order to fulfill your volunteer commitment, you must first be registered with Alberta Alpine. In addition to providing parents with insurance when on the hill with athletes, it ensures you are covered in any on or off snow volunteer activities this season. Parent registrations also support our PTSO, Alberta Alpine. 

What you need to do:

1. If you have athletes in multiple clubs, you will only need to register yourself in one club 
2. Log into RAMP.  The links are as follows: Grizzlies, All Mountain, Race
3. Click on 'Executive/Volunteer Registration'
4. Make sure to repeat the process for all parents and any other family member who may volunteer over the course of the season
