February RISE Ambassadors

Our latest round of monthly RISE Ambassadors! Congratulations to all of these wonderful club members and we look forward to recognizing our next ambassadors soon. 

​Tora has been an amazing RISE ambassador so far this season. She gives her absolute best effort and challenges herself to try new things every day. Tora is also super supportive and inclusive of her fellow athletes. She is always the first person to congratulate and pole tap her teammates when they accomplish something, and she becomes fast friends with everyone she skis with. Congratulations Tora!

Emily Clarke, Head Coach, LLGSC

Wavy has been working very hard this season with specific goals in mind. She has really come into her own this season with focus and determination. Wavy has been working well communicating with coaches and peers to stay focused and to get everything she needs out of every training opportunity. She has been very successful at races so far this season and that it a direct result of her hard work and focus. Keep up the hard Wavy and great things will come.

Congratulations Graham on winning this month’s RISE Athlete title! Graham is an incredible athlete and represents all of our club values. With this being his first season competing in Freeride events, Graham has done a spectacular job of getting involved in the Freeride community, supporting his peers and killing it in his own skiing. We are so proud to have you as a part of our club!

​Hanna and Sydney are a dynamic coaching duo with an infectious love of skiing. They are constantly discussing and refining their plans to get the most of out every day with their athletes, and the results speak for themselves. Hanna and Sydney are both phenomenal at coaching their athletes through challenging terrain and teaching them how to manage their nerves. One of the best things about Hanna and Sydney is how they beam with pride and celebrate the successes of their athletes. We are so lucky to have these two amazing coaches!

Chris is new to the club this year after his move over from the Black Dogs. He is our RISE parent of the month largely for his Effort. Not only is he a willing hand to help the coaches when it comes to setting/re-setting nets, he built the club a barge at his shop in Golden and delivered it to the hill. Our mobile timing shack would still be a pipe dream without him willing, able and capable of taking this job on for the club.
