The Lake Louise All Mountain Club wrapped up their first National 3* IFSA event of the season, overcoming cold temperatures and weather delays over January 11th - 14th. The U12, U15, and U19 athletes all delivered exceptional performances over the weekend. In the U12 category, both boys and girls demonstrated impressive skiing skills despite the challenging weather conditions. Special acknowledgment goes to Dahlia Guest for securing 4th place in only her second IFSA competition. Due to cold weather, Sunday saw the U15 and U19 male and female categories run concurrently, bringing together a total of 150 athletes on the same venue. Our athletes displayed huge improvements over past seasons which showed in their skiing and final results. Congratulations to Gabby Ogryzlo for finishing 5th in her first season of U19 women, Hannah Lang for achieving her first-ever podium and securing 4th place in U15 Female, and Charlie Fryer for his first podium a 4th place finish. Huge shout out to Gavin Sheppard for a massive performance and a near-save just above the finish corral. You can see Gavin go BIG in the video below! Our athletes' dedication and hard work is evident and we are proud of everyone that showed up and braved the cold to compete. We are so excited to continue our comp season and look forward to more great things from our All Mountain athletes! Liam MorrisonHead Coach, Lake Louise All Mountain Ski Club Comments are closed.
